A residential client in Gulshan-e-Iqbal noticed their RO system's output taste had changed and TDS readings were creeping upward despite regular filter changes.
On inspection, our technician found the RO membrane — installed roughly 22 months prior — had reached the end of its effective lifespan and was no longer rejecting dissolved solids properly. We replaced it with a genuine, correctly-rated membrane matched to the existing system.
TDS output returned to under 20 ppm immediately after replacement, and the client was advised on a realistic membrane replacement interval going forward.
